PanAm Games Modelling

TIMCON undertook micro-simulation modelling to support the planning of the PanAm/ParaPan Games as part of a consortium of several major transportation consulting firms in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Games were held successfully at several venues in the GTA in July 2015. The analysis covered the road networks around multiple venues located in various GTA municipalities and was undertaken using AIMSUN and VISSIM.
