Road Safety Audit Conducted Along Muhoroni–Fort Ternan–Londiani (B132) Road

As part of the Road Safety Assessment of Select Key Roads Along the KeNHA Network Project, our team carried out a detailed Road Safety Audit (RSA) along the Muhoroni–Fort Ternan–Londiani (B132) road, covering approximately 63 km within the South Rift Region.

The exercise began with an entry meeting at the KeNHA South Rift Regional Office, where the team engaged in constructive discussions on existing safety concerns, traffic dynamics, and the unique operational challenges along this corridor.

The field audits, conducted during both day and night, enabled a thorough assessment of road geometry, visibility, pedestrian activity, roadside conditions, and access management issues. This comprehensive approach ensured that the audit captured safety gaps across different operational conditions.

The insights obtained will guide the development of practical safety interventions to make the corridor safer and more accessible for all road users.
