As part of the Study the TIMCON is expected to update the Greater Toronto Area Model to Existing 2020 conditions before coming up with 20-year horizon models scenarios. The current analysis is being undertaken using the EMME Demand Forecasting tool in order to establish the network requirements to support the expected levels of development in the future.
The Greater Toronto Area EMME Model will be used to analyze existing conditions, future “do nothing” conditions and several other scenarios before obtaining final optimal future scenario.
