TIMCON was part of a Joint Venture that supervised the construction of the Eldoret Bypass Project, featuring 30 km of new road construction on Greenfield, three interchanges, and a range of environmental and social considerations.
The project began at Cheplaskei Centre on the Nakuru–Eldoret Road (A104), ran northwesterly crossing the Eldoret–Kapsabet (C39) Road at Kapseret, and terminated at Leseru, the junction of the Eldoret–Kitale Road (B2) and the Eldoret–Malaba Road (A104).
The works involved;
- Construction of a bituminous single carriageway road on the left side of the 80m wide road reserve
- Three bridges
- Three major interchanges
- Truck parking facilities
The construction works were completed as scheduled and achieved full physical progress.
