Second Nyali Bridge Project, Mombasa, Kenya: The study was undertaken as a PPP project and involved the transportation assessment of the Mombasa area to assess the feasibility of constructing a new bridge over Tudor Creek in the city. TIMCON provided transportation planning and modelling services. The analysis was conducted using demand forecasting (TRANSCAD) and micro-simulation modelling. A “Willingness to Pay” survey and analysis was carried out to assess public attitudes towards the proposed toll bridge.
