TIMCON partners undertook this assessment of trade and transport in the north west Uganda, an area that experiences a substantial demand in refugee related traffic. The Study involved comprehensive surveys to understand Origin and Destination of goods and services, and prediction of future demands in consideration of the prevailing instability in the neighbouring countries. A detailed analysis of trade and commodity goods flows were undertaken and future demands assessed. Future road network requirements were assessed based on the projected demands and the commodity flow pattern.
